A project is a workspace where you upload all related documents together. Once your files are in a project, the AI reads them as a connected set — so it can cross-reference, detect conflicts, and answer questions that span multiple documents at once.

Overten supports Word documents (.docx), Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx), PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), PDFs, plain text files (.txt), and images (PNG, JPG). If you need a file format not listed here, contact us.

Pro plans support up to 50,000 documents per project. Max plans have no document limit. Teams plans follow the same limits per seat. All plans also have a storage cap — 10 GB for Pro, 50 GB for Max.

Yes. You can create as many projects as you need. Each project is a separate workspace with its own document set and AI memory. Switch between projects at any time from your dashboard.

Yes. You can add, replace, or delete documents at any time. When you update a document, the AI re-processes it so its understanding stays current. Removing a document clears it from the AI context immediately.

When you upload documents into a project, Overten builds a cross-referenced understanding of every file. If two documents reference the same figure, date, or clause differently, the AI flags it. You can also ask it directly: "Are there any conflicts across my documents?"
