At Overten, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains our approach to refunds and cancellations.

2. Free Trial Period

All new users receive a 14-day free trial of Overten Pro features. During this period:

  • You have full access to all Pro features
  • No payment is required or collected
  • You can cancel at any time with no charges
  • Trial ends automatically if you don't subscribe

3. Subscription Cancellation

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team at support@overten.com.

3.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that time.

4. Refund Eligibility

4.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with Overten, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial paid subscription. This applies to:

  • First-time subscribers (after trial)
  • Monthly or annual plans
  • Individual or Business plans

4.2 Refunds NOT Available For

  • Renewals after the first billing cycle
  • Upgrades or downgrades mid-cycle
  • Add-on purchases
  • Accounts terminated for policy violations

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at support@overten.com with:

  • Your account email
  • Reason for refund request
  • Original payment receipt (if available)

We typically process refund requests within 5-7 business days.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Timeline

Once approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method within:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 7-14 business days

6.2 Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by law.

7. Downgrades

If you downgrade from a paid plan to a lower-tier plan:

  • The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refund is provided for the difference in cost
  • You retain access to higher-tier features until the billing period ends

8. Service Credits

In cases where a refund is not available but you experienced service issues, we may offer service credits at our discretion. These credits:

  • Are applied to your account balance
  • Can be used for future subscription payments
  • Do not expire
  • Are non-transferable

9. Enterprise and Business Plans

Refund terms for Enterprise and Business plans may differ and are outlined in your specific service agreement. Please contact your account manager or enterprise@overten.com for details.

10. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • We will notify you by email
  • You have 7 days to update payment information
  • After 7 days, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan
  • Your data is retained for 30 days

11. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • We will respond to the chargeback claim
  • Please contact us first to resolve any billing issues

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the service.
